i had a great stay at alumhurst. the staff were super kind and made me feel welcome right from the start. i paid only £29 for a double room, which is amazin value for money. there’s a big space in the reception with table tennis, which is a cool touch. overall, i would stay here again for sure.
the check-in process was kinda confusing, had to call a numba to get in. also, the noise from others in the hotel kept me up a little.

Clean and comfy stay
We stayed for 1 night in a triple room. The place was a bit dated, but honestly, it was clean and the beds were super comfy. The guy at the front desk was really friendly and let us check out later, which was a nice touch. The location's spot on too! Only bummer was the bathroom could've used some updates.

great stay but lacking in a few minor details
The manager effectively arranged our rooms together, which made our family time enjoyable. The location was perfect, allowing easy access to the city center and piers.
The rooms could benefit from some updates to match the great service.

The location was incredible, just a five-minute walk to the beach! Sadly, the room was shabby, and I found stains on the bedding. 😕

Can recommend for a flash visit
Comfortable beds, warm room, and the free Wi-Fi worked perfectly for us to plan our day while the electric kettle provided fresh tea for a cozy breakfast before heading out.
Nothing to improve

The room was pretty cramped, especially with a queen bed for three of us. Smelled a bit musty, which wasn't great. The décor felt really outdated and not like in the pics online. On the plus side, the bedding was clean, so at least that was a relief! definitely not what we expected.

The twin room, though small, offered a private bathroom which was a huge plus for our family. The central location meant we were close to local attractions, making our outings a lot more convenient.
Check-in was a hassle, requiring a phone call to gain entry, which took longer than expected, especially in the rain. The room left much to be desired. the shower felt cramped, and ongoing maintenance issues like falling tiles on the steps didn't give a good first impression. The cleanliness was subpar, with noticeable dust and stains on towels, which wasn't ideal for a family stay.
